Puppies
At Fuhrer kennels
the temperament factor is our highest priority in the
selection of which dogs are chosen for our breeding program. Sound
temperament provides the foundation for the bonds of trust between the owner
and his dog.
Sound structure and health are equally as important in our breeding program.
Our breeding German shepherds have hips/elbows OVC certified, thyroid and
cardiac tested. Sound structure and health in our dogs provides the
foundation for longevity.
Each litter is whelped and raised in our home. Our whelping area consists
of a 400sq.ft. room with 5'x5' whelping areas. Medical supplies are
stocked
and maintained in the whelping area at all times. Outside the whelping
area
is the puppy lounge which houses couches and entertainment devices for
visual and audible stimuli. The pups are then maintained in a rigid
socialization program starting at 3 weeks of age. The socialization
program
consists of stimulating all their senses and interaction with human and
other canine figures. Commitment in socialization brings all that is
sound, in your German shepherd, together.
Fuhrer pups are CKC registered, with pedigree. Pups are sold with a
written
contract of sale, vaccination certificates and individual puppy care
information packages.
